Relatively immature man in his mid 50’s – with full head of hair. Frighteningly average looking with no discernable skills or talents. Although I enjoy wine, and taking trips to the Finger Lakes for some tastings, I couldn’t tell you the difference between Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot – or for that matter differences in white wines. I guess I am simply not that cultured. I do, however, know the difference between a good vacation and an average one. A good one usually has the ocean involved. Ultimately, I plan on traveling to Hawaii and possibly sitting on the beach until I fry. 
I am not a particularly spiffy dresser – I want comfort in all facets of life. I will wear a tie – begrudgingly – if called for, but that’s not my preference. 
Although I have been recognized (rarely) for my appearances on a long-running local television show, I live in relative anonymity. I consider myself a bit of an introvert, but yet I have done television work – go figure. I am an enigma. 
I've recently taken up painting (canvas, not walls) and although the results are mixed, I find it relaxing, creative and enjoyable. 
I am a selfish man – purely interested in things that make me happy – and in making happy that special person in my life. If the people around me are happy then I am happy; and that is my definition of selfish! I often find the simplest things are the most pleasurable. When things get too complicated my tiny little brain starts to hurt. 
Once upon a time I used to follow all sports. Slowly I have become more of a peripheral fan –except for hockey. I do love me some hockey. Hmm, what does that say about me? Am I a Neanderthal? Am I just interested in a head-crunching, pugilistic sport? Or do I understand the nuances of running the diamond penalty kill over the standard box kill? 
I’m not one to tout my virtues or self-promote. I’m a good guy – plain and simple, with many flaws and imperfections. That’s it – quick and to the point. Now, let’s see what happens…
